Foppe Family Receives Holy Father Blessing Breese Journal - Thursday, September 25, 2008 John and Christine Foppe and their daughter Faith Teresa are pictured with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican in early September. In an unexpected twist of events, the Foppes had the rare opportunity of having a personal visit with the Holy Father. He blessed each of them and gave them rosaries bearing the Papal Coat of Arms. Foppe named Executive Director of Community Link Recently, John put his feet where his heart is by taking on the role of Executive Director for Community Link, a non-for-profit organization, headquartered in Breese, Illinois, that helps adults and children with developmental disabilities. John oversees a six million dollar operating budget and manages more than 130 employees who provide a full array of services, including employment, job training, and housing, to more than 400 individuals. He will continue to speak to other companies on a limited and selected basis. |
